Nizami Gəncəvi "Xəmsə"
Nizami Ganjavi's five immortal poems ("Treasure of Secrets", "Khosrow and Shirin", "Leyli and Majnun", "Seven Beauties", "Iskandername") were inlaid with mother-of-pearl. This masterpiece is adorned with individually hand-cut pieces of mother-of-pearl. In short, every detail—from the initial idea and design to the painting, handwork, and cutting—was executed by Balabey Balabeyov in 2005. It took more than a year to complete this artwork.
Materials: Walnut tree, mother of pearl, gold, black and white diamonds, and rubens (ruby stones).
